NOVEMBER 2011 NEWSLETTER

Thanksgiving will be here soon and we will be having our traditional day before Thanksgiving Feast at the center.  We will provide chicken nuggets and each classroom will make a side dish to share with all the other rooms at the center.  Parents and extended family are welcome.

 One thing the center is thankful for is our outdoor play spaces.  We continue to use the field and the play court throughout the year.  Please make sure your child is dressed for outdoor play every day.  Our guidelines are if the temperature is between 28 and 90 degrees we go outside.  (We take into account the wind chill factor and the heat index.)  

The center has been awarded a $9450 grant from the Keystone STARS program.  We will use the funds to purchase new changing tables, tables, chairs, carpeting, professional development, and technological upgrades.  Some teachers will also be given bonuses based on their educational background.

December 8: Sarris Candy delivered  

December 26 and 27: Center is closed
